Build Volunteer Registration Form

Welcome Volunteer!
Whether you’re a seasoned builder or swinging a hammer for the first time, we’re excited to have you join us. Every volunteer helps make our mission possible — building strength, stability, and self-reliance through homeownership.

What to Expect:
Our build days are hands-on, rewarding, and fun! You’ll work alongside Habitat staff, future homeowners, and other volunteers. All tools, safety gear, and training are provided — and yes, we have T-shirts, too!

Typical volunteer tasks may include:

Painting, caulking, or installing trim
Landscaping or yard cleanup
Installing flooring, cabinets, shelving, or doors
Site cleanup and general construction support

We work Monday - Wednesday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, rain or shine (indoor tasks are available in bad weather). Please arrive on time for a brief orientation and safety talk.

What to Bring:

Weather-appropriate clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
Closed-toe shoes (required)
A refillable water bottle (we’ll have water onsite)
Snacks and lunch
Optional: work gloves, sunscreen, a hat, or a folding chair/stool for breaks

Age Requirements:

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old
Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult AND have a signed Minor Waiver
All volunteers must complete the Volunteer Waiver and Safety Form before participating

Please sign up only for dates you can commit to. If something changes, we understand — just let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
